$30.00 - $35.00 / Hour is the amount that CareNational reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
Quality Improvement Nurse Job Summary:
- Supports the developmental and implementation of quality improvement interventions and audits, and assists in revolving deficiencies impacting plan compliance to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Monitors and investigates all quality of care concerns and collaborates with medical director to determine impact and next steps for actions.
- Monitors provider quality complaints to identify trends and educational opportunities for improvement.
- Audit medical records and monitor performance measures for health risk care assessment, sentinel events and trends.
- Assist with managing databases, policies and procedures related to assigned areas
- Current, valid, and unrestricted state LPN license.
- Utilization Management certification or CPHQ is preferred.
- 3 years of skilled nursing clinical and/or operational improvement experience.
- 2 years of quality improvement, or related work experience.
- Experience with EMR Systems is required.
- HEDIS data collection project coordination experience.
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, database use, and basic data entry.
